Spain's S2 Grupo to enter Colombia in 2015

Spanish cybersecurity firm S2 Grupo will begin operating in Colombia in the first quarter of 2015.

The move is part of an expansion effort that also includes plans to set up shop elsewhere in Latin America and other parts of Europe later this decade.

S2 Grupo's goal is to develop as a "genuinely Colombian" company that leverages Spanish products, knowledge and technology to meet the demands of the defense industry, the national government, the financial sector and utilities, the head of the company's Colombian unit, Enrique Fenollosa, said.
