Spirit Airlines celebrates new route to San Salvador with $22 one-way fares

Spirit Airlines is offering $22 introductory one-way fares from Fort Lauderdale to San Salvador in celebration of its new service starting June 13.

The Florida-based ultra low-cost carrier plans to operate three weekly non-stop flights to the Central American city, subject to final foreign government approval.

The $22 one-way fare must be purchased by Jan. 28 and is applicable on select dates in June, July and August.
