Sponsorship from brewers could save Costa Rican soccer

The economic difficulties faced by Costa Rica have spread to soccer, where several of the top clubs are up to their neck in debt.

However, there is hope in the form of a proposal from the Economic Commission of the Legislative Aeembly that would permit sponsorship by makers of alcoholic beverages.
