Starbucks shares research with Costa Rica

Starbucks is better known for serving coffee than growing it, but one day lattes in Costa Rica might be made with coffee developed by the Seattle-based company.
After a decade of research and development, Starbucks released five new coffee varieties developed at its Costa Rica-based experimental farm, Hacienda Alsacia, to the National Coffee Institute.
