State grows as Panama’s leading creator of jobs

The state is growing ever larger as the leading employer in Panama.

It has the largest number of employees and its wage bill is constantly increasing.

In January, the number of workers in the state sector rose by 6,433, or 4 percent, compared with the same month a year earlier.
