State to pay Bank of Guatemala's losses

The Bank of Guatemala's, Banguat, operational losses will be paid through a bond emission by the Finance Ministry, the bank's president Edgar Barquín said.

The banks operational losses currently stand at $426.4 million.

Barquín also asked Congress to include any modifications to the State's budget in the State's debt with the bank.
