Steelmaker Ternium to invest $1.2 billion in Mexico and Colombia

Ternium, a steel producer which is part of the Italian-Argentinean Techint conglomerate, announced two new investment programs aimed at deepening the development of its industrial system.
The company plans to install a new $1.1 billion hot rolling plant in its industrial center in Pesquería, Mexico, and build a $90 million new corrugated reinforcing steel bar manufacturing plant in northern Colombia.
