Strike aim to paralyze Guatemala

Guatemala’s Asamblea Popular, a leftwing coalition, has called for three days of national strike next week in order to disrupt preparations for the upcoming presidential election.

The protesters want the elections to be cancelled because the nation’s rulers “have opted for corruption and impunity”.
