Summit meeting with Honduran government called by tourism industry on impact of violence on nation's image

The tourism industry in Honduras is deeply concerned about the negative image that the country has acquired as a result of the high levels of violence. Now it is aiming to launch a counter-offensive.

Tourism chiefs and the government are calling a high-level meeting todeay to discuss the measures that need to be taken.

International media have reported that Honduras is the most violence country in the world out of the war zones.
