Sunpower to move production to Mexico

Solar panel manufacturer Sunpower will move several production lines from its Philippines operations to its plant in Mexicali, in northern Mexico, said Sunpower CEO Tom Werner.

The move will help the company work on its new P-Series, a 350-watt panel that is 15 percent stronger than a conventional panal and 17 percent more efficient, Werner added.
