Surge in volume of Copa Holdings shares

Stocks of Panama-based Copa Holdings, the parent company of Copa Airlines, traded on unusually high volume on Tuesday, losing 4.67 percent to close at $119.71.
On the day, Copa Holdings saw 534,758 shares trade hands on 4,851 trades. Considering that the stock averages only a daily volume of 283,179 shares over the last month, this represents a pretty significant bump over the norm.
