Surge of immigrants to US ahead of Trump

The foreign ministers of Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala met last week in Guatemala City to discuss ways to protect tens of thousands of migrants who every year attempt to reach the border with the United States and enter illegally.

They also warned of a surge of migrants who have been urged by coyotes telling them that they have to reach the United States before Donald Trump takes office.
