Swedish security firm Securitas acquires Costa Rica’s CSS Internacional for $8 million. Firm has 1,000 employees

The Sweden-based security company Securitas announced the acquisition of Costa Rica’s CSS Internacional at an enterprise value of some $8 million.

CSS Internacional provides guarding services throughout Costa Rica. It has annual sales of some $14 million and a 1,000 workforce.

According to Securitas, Costa Rica has some 600 security companies with a total of 30,000 employees.
