Sympathy over tragedy boosts Guatemalan tourism

Guatemala is featured in the first program of a new CNN series "Go There Media Fund" that provides support for places that have suffered from tragedies and bad fortune as a result of natural disasters yet are excellent tourism locations.

The Fuego volcano eruption in Guatemala is one such occasion, in which 100 people died and 200 disappeared.

The CNN series begins with the episode on Guatemala this Sunday to mark the annual World Travel Market in London, the travel industry's biggest show.
