Tahoe to focus on fine-tuning Guatemala flagship

Canada's Tahoe Resources said it will focus on ramping up output this year at its Guatemalan flagship Escobal silver mine.

The announcement comes after the company declared commercial production at the mine.

Escobal is expected to contribute about 2 percent of Guatemala's gross domestic product.
