Taiwan aims to export Honduran farm produce

Despite several setbacks to its diplomacy in Latin America, Taiwan is working hard to boost the economies of its remaining allies -- Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Now it plans to build a center in which farm produce from Honduras can be exported to the United States. The produce is expected to include avocados, maracuyá, sesame and soya in pod.

This week a delegation from the Taiwanese Company of Agricultural Investment is to launch the project.
