Taiwan aims to tie up business deals in Nicaragua
A Taiwanese trade mission consisting of seven companies that are seeking new distributors for their products met with 50 business people in Nicaragua.
Several of the companies already have a presence in Costa Rica and other Latin American countries.
Taiwan is Asia's leading buyer of Nicaraguan exports, which rose from $8.6 million in 2006 to $53.6 million last year.
