Taiwan foreign minister to visit Central America

David Lin, the Taiwan foreign minister, embarked on a trip to Central America, where he will meet with senior government officials in Guatemala and attend a regional meeting of Central American countries in El Salvador.

While in Guatemala, Lin will meet with President-elect Jimmy Morales and host a ground-breaking ceremony for a project to expand a highway that is being funded with aid from Taiwan.
