Taiwan protests at $300 million Honduras project

Taiwan's government says its relations with Honduras are warm and friendly despite opposition claims that Honduras has done a deal with Beijing on a hydroelectric project.

Opposition leaders in Taiwan are complaining about a $300 million Patuca III hydro project, now under construction in Honduras.

But Taiwan's government says the deal involves a Chinese private company, not the Beijing administration.
