Taiwan wants to help with Nicaraguan canal

Taiwan is interested in cooperating with Nicaragua's inter-oceanic canal project, said Taiwanese ambassador in Managua, Ingrid Y.W. Hising.

"Of course we are interested in cooperating. It can't be a project for only two or three countries, it should be a team effort", said Hising.

President Daniel Ortega confirmed the construction of the canal last may.
