Taiwan’s vice-president, Vincent Siew, arrived in Panama and was greeted by enthusiastic expatriates. Siew and his 40-member delegation ended their visit to Paraguay and flew to Panama, one of Taiwan's Central American diplomatic allies, where he was greeted by Panama's vice-president Juan Carlos Varela.
Siew is expected to meet with President Ricardo Martinelli and sign a visa-waiver agreement with Panama during his visit.
