Talks on free trade treaty with Mexico forge ahead

Negotiators from Mexico and Central America were satisfied with the closure in San Salvador of the second round of talks over a free trade treaty.
A third round is to be held next month in Mexico City.
During the second round, the negotiators made progress on issues such as rules of origin, access to markets and resolution of disputes.
The talks in September will concentrate on intellectual property, sanitary measures and trade in services.
