Tax burden weighs heavily on astronaut Franklin Chang’s aerospace industry in Costa Rica

Six years ago, Franklin Chang, the Costa Rican astronaut, moved part of the operations of his Ad Astra Rocket company to Costa Rica.
But Chang’s dream of an aerospace industry in his homeland has taken a setback.
The problem is that his attempts to increase his operations in Costa Rica fell foul of the high taxes that were imposed.
