Technology is driving force of jobs Costa Rica

Companies in the service sector and high technology have been the main drivers of jobs growth in Costa Rica over the last three years.

While most productive industries have been shedding workers, growth has been sustained in advanced manufacturing, biotechnology and medical instruments.

Construction, commerce and farming halost more than 65,000 jobs.
