Small companies — the main beneficiaries of the new rules on solar power in Costa Rica — are likely to make savings of about $7000 a year thanks to new regulations for solar power in the country.

The new rules offer considerable flexibility, favoring those who have to work by night and others that can make swaps with the national grid.
