This year's Expocomer is the biggest ever

The 31st edition of Expocomer, Panama's largest and most important trade event, was inaugurated yesterday.

This year will be the biggest Expocomer yet, with representatives of 600 companies from 35 countries, and is expected to generate business deals for up to $100 million.

The president of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, was present at the opening ceremony, along with Puerto Rican governor Alejandro García Padilla, and the Indian minister of Trade and Industry, D. Purandeswari.
