Tigo Guatemala issues $800 million in bonds
The Guatemalan arm of Tigo, subsidiary of telecoms firm Millicom, issued bonds worth $800 million.
The figure marks a historic amount for a Latin American privately-owned firm.
The company received offers of more than $2.9 billion, despite unfavorable market conditions last week, general manager Luis Fernando Valladares said.
