Top Chinese official builds on partnership with Mexico

Visiting top Chinese legislator Zhang Dejiang vowed to build a stronger all-around partnership with Mexico during a meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.

Zhang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, first conveyed Chinese President Xi Jinping's regards to Peña, who visited China earlier this month.

Zhang highlighted the important consensus between Xi and Peña on deepening China-Mexico all-round cooperation.
