Top Nicaraguan free zones are in the provinces

Fifty of the companies in Nicaragua's free zones are US-owned and they have a total of 33,000 workers, while those from South Korea are 29 in number with 29,000 obs.

The United States and Korea are the leading nations in terms of ownership of companies in the free zones.

At least half of all the 103,000 jobs in the Nicaraguan free zones are from free zones in the provinces.
