Toshiba mulls geothermal plant for Colombia

Toshiba Corp. and three other companies will consider developing Colombia’s first geothermal power station.

Isagen SA, Schlumberger Ltd. and West Japan Engineering Consultants Inc. have agreed to join Toshiba at considering a 50-megawatt geothermal project in Caldas, Toshiba said in a statement today.
