Toshiba opens regional headquarters in Costa Rica

Japanese technology firm Toshiba opened its Central American headquarters in San José, Costa Rica.

From its new offices, the company will handle commerce, marketing and business development activities for the region, as well as serving clients in Miami, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

"Our location, quick adaptation to new technologies and qualified personnel make us a strategic country within the region for companies' operations," said Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solís, who attended the inauguration.
