Tourism services to be charged by the Costa Rican tax man

Tourism services, ranging from rafting to car hire, as well as airfares are to face extra charges under a fiscal reform being studied by Costa Rican legislators.
In the first year of the reform, the value-added tax will be charged at 4 percent, rising to 13 percent in the fourth year.
