Tourism to Nicaragua grows 7 percent

Tourism to Nicaragua grew 7.1 percent in the first half of this year, compared with the same period last year, the country's tourism authority, Intur, said.

During the period, 650,000 tourists visited the country, some 42,900 more than the first half of 2013.

Those visitors generated $218 million, 10.4 percent more than the previous year.
