Tourists spend $7.2 billion in Mexico

Tourists in Mexico spent 17 percent more in the first five months of this year, compared with the same period last year, the country's tourism authority said.
The figure represents $7.22 billion for the period.
The number of visitors increase 19 percent in the same period, reaching 1.7 million.
