Tourists spent $904 million in El Salvador in 2013

El Salvador registered $904 million in tourism spending last year, according to data from the Tourism Ministry, Mitur.

The figure is 22.8 percent higher than the $736 million in 2012.

The number of visitors grew 4.8 percent to more than 1.82 million.
