Trade dispute pits El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica with Dominican Republic

El Salvador announced that it filed a complaint against the Dominican Republic before the World Trade Organization, for charging tariffs that it says violate Cafta.
Economy minister Héctor Dada Hirezi said the complaint stems from a 38 percent tariff on synthetic sacks and tubular weave that his country sells to Dominican industries.
The measure also affects Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica, which also a filed a complaint before the World Trade Organization.
