Interregional trade in Central America grew 6 percent year-on-year during the first half of 2010.
The Central American Secretariat for Economic Integration (Sieca) said that from January to June 2010, trade reached $2.84 billion.
"There is a repercussion in Guatemalan exports to the region, due to a bigger dynamism and demand in the market," said the Guatemalan economy minister, Erick Coyoy.
