Trolleybuses could be the solution in Costa Rica

A system of electric buses, also known as trolleybuses, could be the solution to resolving the public transport needs of the metropolitan area of San José, the Costa Rican capital.

Such a system would be less expensive by comparison than a train.

Because it weighs much les than a train, a trolleybus system would mean big savings on the concrete base of the route, not would it need rails.

With trolleybuses that would be no need to invest hundreds of millions of dollars on underpasses, because they would coexist with other road users.
