Two bad grades and you're fired, Costa Rican state workers told

Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Two consecutive grades of less than 70 percent in work performance will be cause for dismissal for employees of the Costa Rican government, according to a bill backed by President Carlos Alvarado.

The measure would mean instant dismissals, according to trade unions, while businesses applaud the new "look" in labor relations, reports La República in Spanish.
