Two Korean companies show interest in acquisition of Guatemala’s railroad system

Korean companies Hyundai and Ya Shan have made contacts with a view to talks with RailRoad Development Corporation (RDC) on possibly acquiring its interest in the Guatemalan railroad system, Ferrovías.

A Hyundai mission will visit Guatemala this month to find out the details.

The potential investors want to know what is happening in the arbitration hearing launched by RDC against the Guatemalan government.
