Ukraine bans imports of poultry from Nicaragua. Outbreak of Newcastle disease alleged as government imposes restrictions

Ukraine has banned the imports of meat products from Nicaragua, Uruguay and Israel.

According to the government, imports of poultry and products made of poultry have been banned from Nicaragua, as an outbreak of Newcastle disease has been recorded there.

The service also banned the import of animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease and products made of them from Uruguay, as an outbreak of the disease in cattle has been registered there.
