US aims to boost Colombia's private sector

Adam Boehler, executive director of the US Development Finance Corporation, visited Colombia last week, seeking to identify new opportunities to finance private sector projects there. The DFC is a successor to OPIC, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

Boehler and his team is meeting with President Iván and private sector leaders that include energy, technology, communications, infrastructure, agriculture and finance, Finance Colombia reports.
