US-based Cummins forms joint venture with Laeisz for distribution in Central America
Cummins, an engine maker based in the United States, has formed a joint venture with Grupo Laeisz in Central America to distribute and service Cummins engines, generators and parts.
The joint venture will be called Cummins Centroamérica, and will operate in Costa Rica, El Salvador and Honduras.
Laeisz has been a Cummins distributor in Honduras for more than 40 years, with subsequent expansion into El Salvador and Costa Rica.
