Vinci buys big share of Costa Rica’s two main airports

The French company Vinci Airports bought Airports Worldwide, a portfolio with shares in 12 facilities including Costa Rica’s two most important airports.

Vinci purchased 48.75 percent of the Juan Santamaría International airport, located just outside San José in Alajuela, and 45 percent of the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, in the northwestern province of Guanacaste, the company said.
