Volaris seeks to add flight to El Salvador

Mexican low-cost airline Volaris is in the process of obtaining a permit to fly to El Salvador, said René Roberto López, president of the Salvadoran civil aviation authority.
The airline is seeking to add a direct flight from Mexico to the Salvadoran airport of Ilopango, which is currently in the process of obtaining certification to operate international flights.
Volaris flies to a total of 35 cities, 18 within Mexico and 17 to international destinations.
