Walmart backs Central America small producers

Walmart de México y Centroamérica has bought $74 million of produce in direct purchases from small farmers in Central America.
The purchases have given employment to the farmers as suppliers of the chain.
Walmart has also saved $1 million on energy and recicled almost 20 metric tons of plastics and cardboard.
