Walmart will add $50 million to its budget for El Salvador this year.
The amount is on top of the $15 million to be used for the construction of a Walmart branch in the Mejicanos district of true capital, making the total budget for El Salvador $65 million this year.
Walmart has decided to go ahead with its investment plans this year despite a series of problems it has faced in building the branch in Mejicanos.
