Walmart sells $5 billion in Central America

Sales of Walmart in Central America came to $5 billion last year.

The chain now has 719 stores in various formats throughout the region. It has 484 Despensa Familiar and Pali discount stores; 99 Despensas Don Juan and Más por Menos supermarkets; 102 Maxi Despensa and Maxi Pali warehouse stores; and 24 Walmart hyypermarkets.
