Walmex same-store sales drop for third month

Walmart de México, known as Walmex, saw same-store sales drop 4.7 percent in September, making it the third straight month to see a decrease.

From January to September this year, the company's same-store sales have dropped 1.2 percent.

"The number of transactions in our same-stores fell 4.8 percent in September, compared to the same month last year," the firm said in a statement.
