World Bank earmarks $80 million for Honduras

The World Bank plans to invest $80 million in Honduras this year, said its representative in the country, Giuseppe Zampanglione.
The funds will be used as support for natural disaster prevention projects as well as fighting organized crime.
The investment will be given despite Honduras not having an agreement with the International Monetary Fund.
